Susan joined the firm in January of 2013. She is a 1996 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Prior to joining Gospodarek & Dreher, C.P.A., P.A., now Dreher Martin CPAs, her public accounting experience consisted of her operating her own CPA firm for 3 years and prior to that, 13 years at both local and regional firms in Raleigh. She is experienced in providing audit, review, compilation, bookkeeping and consulting services to owner-managed businesses, federal government contractors, non-profit organizations, local governments, financial institutions and entities receiving federal and state grant funding. She has experience with audits issued under Government Auditing Standards, commonly known as “Yellow Book,” as well as OMB Circular A-133. She also provides tax and specialized consulting services to non-profit organizations.
Susan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). Susan serves on the not-for-profit committee of the NCACPA and several non-profit organization boards and committees. She is also a member of the Wakefield Rotary Club and has an active role for the Rotary 7710 District. She is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Wake Forest. Susan and her husband, Andy, live in Wake Forest with their two sons, Graydon and Alexander.
